     Tuttle indicates that Stephen served in the Revolution. He and his wife sold some land to James Tuttle of Barrington on 12 NOV 1803.      Roderic(K) was born in 1795.² Occupation: Farmer in 1857.² Roderic(K) died on 24 December 1857. His death was sudden, as he suffered from heart disease. The town record was "informed by his widow.".²

     Statilla was born at North Kingstown, Washington, RI, on 2 January 1870.¹ She was counted in the census of Census1870 in the household of Daniel Bullock on 22 June 1870 at North Kingston, Washington, RI.² Statilla died on 26 April 1876 at pneumonia, North Kingstown, Washington, RI, at age 6.³

His duties included looking after Sabbath-breakers, unruly children and servants, night walkers and tipplers..⁷ He died on 10 September 1694 at Newbury, Essex, MA.¹ Conflicting evidence states that he died at Newbury, Essex, MA, on 8 October 1694.² Daniel's will was probated at Newbury, Essex, MA, on 29 November 1698. Daniel died intestate. His estate was divided amongst Daniel, John, Joseph and James Cheney; John Richards, who married Sarah, a daughter, they having already received a house, land and orchards of the administrator, which they had sold, they were laid out three acres in one plot, six acres of "dividend" land and also a ninth share of all the division; to John Emerson, who married Judith; to Richard Jackman, as attorney for Thomas Wiswell, who married Hannah; and for Elinor, formerly Satchel (Shatewell), widow and now Safford.      Humphrey was born at England circa 1640.¹ He married Mehitable Ruggles at Braintree, Norfolk, MA, circa 1666.^2,1,3,4 Humphrey reported for active duty at Medfield, Norfolk, MA, before 24 April 1676. "24 Apr. 1676, Humphrey Richards, under Capt. John Jacobs of Hingham, served in Medfield and was paid L1-16s; also under same, he received 24 June 1676, 12s." (Bodge's Soldiers in King Philip's War, 1906, 285, 362.)¹ Humphrey died after 24 June 1676. It is possible that Humphrey died while serving in Capt. Jacobs unit as he was not listed on subsequent roles..¹

     Mehitable was born at Braintree, Norfolk, MA, on 16 July 1650.^1,2 As of circa 1666,her married name was Richards.^2,1 She married Humphrey Richards at Braintree, Norfolk, MA, circa 1666. Holman says in "Boston or Braintree"; Torrey says "by 1666.".^{2,1,3,4 5}Holman says she was still living in 1691. Mehitable was listed as a member of a church at Second Church in Boston, Boston, Suffolk, MA, on 4 October 1691.¹ Mehitable died after 1691.¹

Bond, 9 Sept, 1723, whereby John Richards, baker, with Samuel Bree, Innkeeper, and Joseph Civerly, miller, all of Boston, was appointed adminstrator of the estate of hius late father. Inventory of 14 Feb. 1727-8, extate of Mr. Humphrey Richards, baker, includes a lare Bible, a negro man, no silver listed in this document, which Susanna attested, total of £727-17-03. Letter of administration, d.b.n. granted, 9 Sept, 1728: Whereas the administratrix of the estate of your father, Humphrey Richards, baker, decd., was granted unto his relict, Susanna, since decd., and the estate not settled, therfore said administration is now granted to you, John Richards, of Boston, baker. Account of John Richards as administrator of the estate of same; the heirs of Hmuphrye [Jr.] also decd., a double share of £189-05-05, a single share of £94-12-09 to John Richards, Belcher Richards[?], Obadiah Richards and Samuel Richards; later ethey also had: heirs of Humphry[Jr.], £164-05-09; rest each had £82-02-09; undated. Distribution to the heirs; Humphry Richards Jr; Susanna, wife of Thomas Belcher, Obadiah Richards and Samuel Richards, undated. Estate incapable of division among the children; 30 Sept. 1737, so a committee appointed to dovide the same, same day. Warrant 4 May 1737, to audit account of Humphry's esate, because of sundry disputes, etc., includes copy of the inventory that lists the gold and silver".¹
