     Lemuel Bean was born circa 1863 at Upton, Oxford, ME.¹

     Sarah Chapman was born in 1877 at Upton, Oxford, ME.¹

     Julia B. Chapman was born on 4 March 1879 at Upton, Oxford, ME.¹

     Flora Bean was born on 27 October 1866 at Upton, Oxford, ME.¹

     Hannah E. Bean was born on 16 October 1868 at Upton, Oxford, ME.¹

     Emma H. Bean was born on 16 October 1869.¹

     Julia Bean was born in 1870 at Upton, Oxford, ME.¹

     Benjamin Hall was born on 5 May 1797 at Grantham, Sullivan, NH.¹ He married Susan Abbott, daughter of John Abbott and Ruth Lovejoy, on 5 May 1797 at Grantham, Sullivan, NH.¹ Benjamin Hall married Hannah Farnum Abbott, daughter of John Abbott and Ruth Lovejoy, on 26 November 1836 at Andover, Oxford, ME.¹ Benjamin Hall died on 22 May 1884 at Andover, Oxford, ME, at age 87.¹
     In the autumn of 1851 the Oxford Association of Universalists met at the meeting house in South Andover at what was called the "big meeting." Many of their ablest preachers were present. From 1850 there was a Ladies' Circle in the town which from time to time maintained an organization, working for charities and for the support of public worship. The principal supporters of the movement were Farnum Abbott, Ingalls Bragg, Wm. Adams Sr., Holton Abbott, John Abbott, John Abbott, Jr., Farnum Abbott 2nd, Benjamin Hall and Able Chapman. There were several others in sympathy with them.²

     Susan Abbott was born on 17 April 1796 at Andover, Oxford, ME.¹ She married Benjamin Hall on 5 May 1797 at Grantham, Sullivan, NH.¹ Susan Abbott died on 23 May 1834 at Andover, Oxford, ME, at age 38.¹

     Benjamin Franklin Hall was born on 27 October 1828 at Sullivan, NH.¹

     Susan Catherine Hall was born on 24 May 1830 at Sullivan, NH.¹

     Francis Cushman Hall was born on 31 July 1831 at Hanover, Oxford, ME.¹

     Hannah Farnum Abbott was born on 17 June 1802 at Andover, Oxford, ME.¹ She married Benjamin Hall on 26 November 1836 at Andover, Oxford, ME.¹

     Joseph Emery Hall was born on 29 February 1840 at Andover, Oxford, ME.¹

     Daniel Pike Hall was born on 8 March 1842 at Andover, Oxford, ME.¹

     Ziba Wright Hall was born on 4 June 1845 at Andover, Oxford, ME.¹

     John Abbott was born on 24 January 1769 at Andover, Essex, MA.¹ He married Ruth Lovejoy on 26 May 1788 at Andover, Essex, MA.¹
     JOHN ABBOTT and his wife came here to Andover, Oxford, Maine, USA with his father and mother May 5, 1794, and chose for their farm Lot No. 2, West side or the second lot from Rumford, Oxford, Maine, USA line, where he lived until his death. He had a large and good farm, and was a pretty good farmer. He was a cabinet and chair maker by trade, but did not work much at that business except in the winter, when he spent most of his time at it. He managed his farm well, set out an orchard early, and when in the prime of life was in good circumstances. They had a large family, and were pretty well instructed and posted up in public affairs. He and his family were great readers. As a citizen, good, but did not take an active part in town affairs. As a companion and a father he was kind, affectionate, and social, enjoyed company and loved to make those around him happy. He built the first cider mill in this town of Andover, Oxford, Maine, USA in the year 18_, which was the only one for several years. As a neighbor, he was kind and obliging, He became embarrassed in his financial affairs in his old age by becoming security for his son, Joseph, who went into trade in this town in 1829, and failed in 1830, and came near having to sell his farm to pay the debts. He died of a rupture. He was a smart, active man till his death, and was sick but a few days. Mr Benjamin Hall, a descendant, ran the farm in 1897.      Hazen Hutchins was born circa 1792 at NH; 1880 Census lists Carlton Hutchins father born in ME, mother born in NH. 1900 Census lists Carton Hutchins father born in NH, mother born in ME. Abbott is a prominent Andover family and Carlton was born in NH. Tentative conclusion is that Hazen was born in NH.²

     Abner Preston Hutchins was born on 21 September 1823 at Hanover, Grafton, NH.¹

     Fanny Louisa Hutchins was born on 12 July 1825 at Hanover, Grafton, NH.¹
